The sights and sounds of the last SCATE night left Wofford students yearning for more. We opened with David Moore on Guitar, playing various covers. Following, Jonny Martin, aka The Franchize KiD, performed two songs from his mixtape. Benae Ritter, Ricky Jones, and Chris Pettit performed an original number, written and composed by themselves. Greyson Mann rendered a classical piece on the keys. Dion Dawkins, aka Dawk, also performed an origi-nal song on the piano. Music was not the only artistic work of the night. Rakiya Faulk-ner performed a poem that ignited the crowd. Monique Collins also read a poem that made the audience self-reflect. If you want to see artistic greatness happening here on Wofford’s campus, come to the next SCATE night: Friday, October 14 in Campus Life at 7pm.
