Sharing Creative Art Through Expression

/skeyt/; verb
Sponsored by Multicultural Affairs

SCATE was started by three Wofford students; Cameron Kimber, Lamar Hunter, and Tyrell Jemison, with the help of a few Wofford staff members. The idea was initially in-spired by Tramaine Brown, who currently serves as a Wof-ford Fellow working with Student Affairs. His main focus is Multicultural Affairs. Contrary to popular belief, Multicul-tural Affairs is not just for the black or minority students, but is for any and every student here on campus. In the simplest definition of the word, multicultural means many cultures, not minority. SCATE was created not to be de-fined by a specific culture, but to be a safe haven for artists of all backgrounds. If you see the three initial SCATErs pictured below, and are interested in being involved, feel free to stop and talk to them.
